Training Proficiency

Recognizes practitioners who consistently design and deliver effective training programs across diverse organizational contexts. The accredited individual conducts needs analysis, applies multiple instructional techniques including Team-Based Learning, and produces measurable capability transfer.


Requirements

1-hour accreditation interview. The candidate must: - Provide evidence of at least 2 years of professional training design and delivery experience (or 1 year if continuously mentored by an ACA Accredited Coach), across different audiences, topics, and formats. - Answer 2 questions on instructional design and learning effectiveness: how to identify a real capability gap, how to design for transfer (not just recall), and how to evaluate whether training worked. - Provide evidence of having conducted a formal or structured training needs analysis for at least 1 organizational context, including how the gap was identified and how it shaped the training design. - Provide evidence of having designed and delivered at least 3 training programs with documented learning objectives and participant outcomes. - Present 1 case study of designing a training intervention that addressed a specific organizational capability gap: from needs analysis through design, delivery, and evaluation of transfer to the workplace. - Provide evidence of having applied at least 3 different teaching techniques across programs (e.g., case-based learning, Team-Based Learning, role play, simulation, spaced practice, peer teaching, etc.). - Provide evidence of having evaluated the effectiveness of at least 1 training program beyond immediate satisfaction: behavior change on the job, performance improvement, or organizational capability shift. - Share at least 3 self-improvement goals grounded in patterns observed across their training practice.
