Change Agent Proficiency

Recognizes practitioners who consistently design, facilitate, and sustain organizational change initiatives across complex contexts. The accredited individual leads end-to-end change processes and produces meaningful, measurable organizational transitions.


Requirements

1-hour accreditation interview. The candidate must: - Provide evidence of at least 2 years of experience leading or facilitating organizational change (or 1 year if continuously mentored by an ACA Accredited Coach), across different types of change (process, structural, cultural, technological). - Answer 2 questions requiring judgment in complex change situations: managing multi-stakeholder resistance, sustaining momentum after early adoption, or navigating political dynamics. - Provide evidence of having designed and facilitated at least 2 distinct change initiatives, each with a documented change plan, stakeholder engagement approach, and measurable outcomes. - Provide evidence of having engaged senior leadership or sponsors to build active commitment in at least 1 change initiative, describing the approach and result. - Present 1 case study of leading a team or department through a significant change: the situation, the design of the change approach, the resistance encountered, how it was managed, and the sustained outcome. - Share at least 3 self-improvement goals grounded in patterns observed across their change management practice.
