
Agile Leader Skills
Recognizes practitioners who have demonstrated foundational agile leadership behaviors in real organizational contexts. The accredited individual applies servant leadership principles and enables agile practices within their immediate sphere of influence.
Requirements
45-minute accreditation interview. The candidate must:
- Provide written evidence of at least 6 months of experience in a leadership role within an agile context (team lead, chapter lead, line manager in an agile environment, or equivalent).
- Answer 2 questions on agile leadership principles: servant leadership, psychological safety, enabling autonomy, and removing organizational impediments.
- Provide evidence of having applied at least 2 servant leadership behaviors in a real situation (e.g., shielding the team from interruptions, removing a specific impediment, enabling team self-organization).
- Provide evidence of having supported at least 1 agile practice adoption or cultural shift within their team or department.
- Present 1 practical example of enabling a team member's growth or an improvement in team dynamics.
- Share at least 2 specific self-improvement goals as an agile leader grounded in their current leadership context.
