
Agile Leader Excellence
Recognizes practitioners who have demonstrated mastery in leading agile transformations at organizational level. The accredited individual drives systemic cultural and structural change, enables other leaders, and creates conditions for self-sustaining organizational agility.
Requirements
1.5-hour accreditation interview. The candidate must:
- Provide evidence of at least 5 years of experience in agile leadership roles (or 2 years if continuously mentored by an ACA Accredited Coach), across multiple teams or organizational layers.
- Answer 3 questions requiring strategic and systemic reasoning about agile transformation, enabling leadership, and sustaining organizational agility beyond initial adoption.
- Provide evidence of having influenced at least 2 measurable cultural shifts enabling agility across an organization or significant department.
- Provide evidence of having driven at least 2 structural changes (formal or informal) that enabled agility at organizational level.
- Provide evidence of having led or sponsored at least 4 agile process implementations with documented organizational adoption.
- Provide evidence of at least 2 team or area improvement processes with before-and-after metrics.
- Provide evidence of at least 4 individual development processes with documented growth outcomes.
- Present 2 case studies of leading an organization or significant area through an agile transformation: initial state, strategy, execution, resistance, and sustained outcomes.
- Provide evidence of having enabled or developed at least 2 other agile leaders.
- Share self-improvement goals that reflect a systemic and strategic perspective on agile leadership.
